How Message Betting works

Overtime counts

Basketball markets include overtime unless the market name says otherwise. A money line on a game that goes to overtime is settled on the final score after the extra period. Quarter and half markets are settled on that period alone and don't include overtime.

Reading a spread

A spread gives one team a head start in points. If the line is minus 4.5 on your team, they need to win by five or more. Half-point lines avoid a push. Where a whole-number line lands exactly, the bet is void and the stake returned.
