In-play, explained

Suspensions
Markets pause for a moment when something big happens: a goal, a penalty award, a break point, a red card. The buttons grey out until the traders reopen them at a new price.
Acceptance
After you press Place Bet there is a short check before we confirm. If the market suspends during that check, the bet isn't taken and your stake stays in your balance.
By message
You can ask for an in-play price by message, but quotes during a live event stay open for less time. If the quote lapses, ask again for a fresh one.
